Move over, hot girl summer: It's officially Costco home summer. This season, our favorite wholesaler is punching its weight in home goods, proving that it has so much more to offer than jumbo-sized containers of mayonnaise. Looking for a gigantic screened-in porch? Check. What about an outdoor bar that can accommodate your space's unique footprint? You betcha. And, if you're looking for a cool way to get around town this summer, Costco also sells a Bugatti scooter.
Admittedly, putting the luxe French automobile company and Costco in the same sentence might seem as odd as going to the wholesaler without taking a lap around its food samples. But it's that genius, wish-I-knew-about-this-sooner aspect that makes this electric scooter the perfect fit for its aisles.
Decked out with nine-inch wheels, this electric scooter has three speed modes and can go up to 18.5 miles per hour. (Translation: You'll be zipping.) It also has a batter range of up to 25 miles, so you can cover plenty of ground in a single charge. And, thanks to the front headlight and safety reflector, you'll feel comfortable riding this scooter later in the day.
At $940, the Bugatti 9.0 Electric Scooter is by no means cheap—but the people who have made the investment love it. "It's fast, steady and, of course, the Bugatti name, which shows up when you turn on the light," one happy customer said. "This was a completely frivolous purchase for our family but we absolutely love the scooter. Get one if you can!" Another shopper was impressed by its battery life and wrote, "I use it daily and never dies on me even after 17 miles." "Well worth the money," a third customer wrote. "It doesn’t disappoint."
The one downside? It's currently sold out online. While the Bugatti 9.0 Electric Scooter is available for slightly more at Walmart and Dick's Sporting Goods, you can always check your nearest Costco for availability. And, make no mistake, we'll be the first to let you know when it's back in stock.
